Blank (II) (2019)
1/10
A horrible film with hateful characters, jam packed with small contradictory details
26 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Do you know the kind of typical bollywood stereotype characters we have in films? Vicky Malhotra is doing an MBA from London (aka super rich), who books a flight ticket on the fly (aka filthy rich) but can't afford a room in a hotel for 1 day and needs to share it.

Similarly, this movie has the stereotype character in the lead role as Hanif. Hanif poses as a mild-mannered guy on several occasions. He gets nervous in front of the police, breaks down when questioned (aka timid, weak) but makes an ultra-strong eye contact with strangers, in fact, he outstares everyone on the film (aka passive-aggressive), he mercilessly beats up the hospital staff, the nurses, the doctors (aka aggressive).

When someone hits you what do you do? You defend, you hit back. Hanif knocks them out onto the floor. He hits them back so hard that they get unconscious. What would normal people do? They would run. Hanif, on the other hand goes on beating unconscious strangers, innocent people around, endlessly smashing their faces until there's blood everywhere.

And if you see the ending, this guy comes off as the good guy. Why did he kill so many innocents, disable them for life? He was just trying to do good! It's okay.

How do you feel in offices? Why are colleagues all around you getting so arrogant and hateful? It's because worthless $hits like this character are portrayed as a "hero" when their behavior is 90% villainish.
