It is one of the most gorgeous films I have seen. Great work on the cinematography. Vivid and the story-line develops visually as well. It is very dream like. I would even say that visual achievement takes center stage here.
Now the story, for a person who does not enjoy romantic movies I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ms Sanchez-Gijon portrays her role with a beautiful vulnerability. Touching and so is the entire family. I found the story to be quite beautiful and honorable.
I have seen many Keanu Reeves movies and was about to think this as his best role ever until I saw his Razzie nomination for this role. Unacceptable! Do I live in a different planet from all these morons?
Anyway watch this movie, you will not be disappointed. To me it is unusual.
