Review of The Left Behind

This heavy handed and unsophisticated political drama could have been so much better if only the director and writer had spent some time developing their characters and storyline instead of relentlessly ramming their one tone message down the viewers' throats. The only redeeming feature of this film is the strong performances by its cast, especially given the lack of three dimensional characters and character development throughout.
