Predictable movie
I've seen this story a thousand times and I've seen it done better about 600 of those times
A kid needs to find his place in the world but feels trapped but finds salvation in the music of Bruce Springsteen
Film is about following your dreams and being yourself which I'm sure you have heard thousands of times
Almost every character is overacted and feels manufactured even though it is based on a true story
Generic overbearing father who won't let his son follow his dream
There were some sweet moments in the film
I liked the relationship with the teacher, they should have developed that much further
They also should have leaned harder into the neo nazi stuff that was shown in the film, that would have been much more impactful
I did like the kids speech at the end as well
Overall very mediocre and generic film
