I, too, really enjoyed this entire series until I got to this episode and all that I could think was: WTF? It was very poorly written, i.e., unbelievable and uninteresting. The only thing that makes it the slightest bit palatable are the characters whom you've grown to know and love over the first three seasons sans Amanda. What they've done to Sydney's character - just to write him out of the series - is like watching a good friend go into surgery and you've got to actually watch an inept surgeon take out the wrong organ or amputate the wrong leg. It's that bad. Knowing that Sydney is leaving the series is traumatic enough. But, then, to watch the writers, producers, director orchestrate this mess is salt into the wound. Fast forward this episode and say a quick 'good-bye.' (The chemistry between Sydney and Violet is truly not there and her 'southern' accent is horrific. Like others have stated in their reviews, nothing makes sense and their interactions are tedious to watch.)
