My fiance and I are HUGE MDWAP fans and we couldn't make it 10 minutes into the special. It felt incredibly fabricated and kinda pointless when the whole point of the podcast is first reactions. They're very comfortable on stage, which was great to see, but it only adds to the feeling that everything was scripted/rehearsed in a way that's counter to the parent content.
I didn't want to see them pretending they hadn't heard the chapter before. I find it weird they're dining out on that live show for so long. I guess comedians do a similar thing but the spontaneity between the 3 hosts is so integral to the success of the podcast.
