American Horror Story opens with a nuclear apocalypse happening. Very little is known about the nuclear besides several countries are attacked. Possibly World War 3. The episode opens with few characters one getting her hair done. And the phone alarm systems went off. With a missile inbound. One character has a ticket to get to an underground bunker to wait out the nuclear storm. Then, there is a group picking people up to save them cause they are selected to be the perfect genome which they pick up a teenager who was about to head off to college. After the fallout, the remaining survivors are taken to a underground facility led by Sarah Paulson's character. Which they are stuck eating protein cubes. And assigned specific tasks. Little is known about her character besides she may be unethical and her motives are shady. The episode opened up great and intense. The chaos with everyone running to escape. And only one hour to find a safe haven. It was scary, intense, and exciting.
