It is episode 4 and I get the feeling that although the series is silly it is running out of steam.
There is a demonstration against a racist speaker and he gets shot by a sniper. Rabbit has an inkling who this could be.
Later the visiting Prince of Bulgaria is attacked by the sniper and is then kidnapped. The prince's sister is not pleased and blames Rabbit. His absence at a conference on the Balkans could lead to war.
It turns out that a female sniper is an old flame of Rabbit but she is not the sniper who attacked the prince. Every time she meets Rabbit, they are at it like rabbits.
The episode introduces a new fangled invention called the telephone. Also Mabel gets a lot of flak from the newspapers as a policewoman.
It was a weak episode, frivolous with a bit of fun.
