The combination of humor and touching drama makes this episode one of "Golden Palace'" best. Anne Haney, who appeared in one episode of "Golden Girls" as Dorothy's hospital roommate. Here, she's an old woman suffering from Alzheimer's who comes to believe that Rose is her daughter. By mistake, Sophia is taken by the police into safe custody, and it's up to Rose to find a better way for Haney to be taken care of. Rose has some memories of her own mother (played in one episode of "Golden Girls" by Jeanette Nolan) which is very sweet.
