I love horror and this isn't it. It's very slow paced. Nothing even happens for at least 40 minutes and when it does it still doesn't pick up the pace. There are too many lulls in between mild scares. The actors even seem bored. The demon isn't even scary! There are very few tense moments, but about halfway through you already know what to expect and it ain't much.
The writing does absolutely nothing to stimulate the viewer. It's all very predictable and disappointing. I wanted to like it, but it is boring and horror and boring don't go together. I feel like they were trying to create an original possession movie, but sadly and tragically they failed miserably. The opening scene is the best part.
I'm not saying not to watch. I never recommend not watching something. If you are curious like I was then by all means give it a watch just keep your expectations low.
