The Flash: Into the Void (2019)
Season 6, Episode 1
9/10
The Road to Crisis on Infinite Earths!
9 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The season 6 premiere of the Flash started mere seconds after the events of the season 5 finale. The Monitor did not show up in the opening scene, but rather in the end credits scene. The opening scene saw the Monitor trying to send Barry Allen a message by destroying the message that Nora left for her parents. After this scene, the timeline changes directly to the present day specifically four months later.

This episode was quite unique in its own way. It is the first episode showcasing how Nora's future changed. It clarified that Godspeed is a major threat in the future and may be the main villain in the back half of season 6.

The introduction to Ramsey Rosso aka Bloodwork is unlike anything we've seen before on the show. He has the ability to control the red blood cells of human beings. At the end of the premiere, we saw him become Bloodwork.

Ralph Dibny had his time to shine in this episode. His grand entrance was hilarious and a obvious reference to James Bond. In this season, Ralph will uncover the truth about the missing Sue Deardon and hopefully find her. In the comics, Sue Dibny is the wife of Ralph Dibny. Perhaps, we will be seeing their relationship unfold this season.

To conclude, the episode begins on a more positive note, but at the end it was quite dramatic and sad. I am excited to see how Barry deals with this revelation next episode and all the episodes after that leading up to the crossover.
