Series 4 has newly promoted police sergeant Fidel Best receiving a transfer to St. Lucia, the only indication of it being a phone conversation with police officer Dwayne Myers. This is badly handled as no mention had been made of its possibility, and the phone call is after the event.
Sergeant Best's replacement DS Florence Cassell arrives somewhat surreptitiously such that Dwayne tried to chat her up. However he felt the need to impress her with his police skills, when she announced her appointment by arriving at the police station in uniform. The police Commissioner mysteriously appearing at the police station to introduce her, has had act as stand in at the station which has proved to be a mixed blessing to all concerned.
