I'm trying to stick with this show, but the more I see the less sense it makes. Just looking at it from the Billy point of view... He's got to have some kind of idea that Marisol is not exactly who she appears to be, at the very least that she's hiding something. Yet in the middle of a meal she convinces him to go down to the beach and wait for her. Not "let's take a walk on the beach" , but to walk down and wait for her. And this is after he agrees to go with her to Mexico because she wants to get away from it all. Even my Cocker Spaniel could figure that one out. Next thing you know she's calling to him from the passenger seat of a black SUV and still no red flags go up. So they get to what is plainly obvious a cartel hacienda with armed guards and one handed vineyard workers that she refers to as her home, yet still no warning flags. Not to mention that she knows he'll be out of cell phone range and the only outside communication he'll have is a satellite phone so that the cartel will know the details of every call coming and going. And. He. Still. Does. Not. Leave. Couple that with a cop who should know better but still takes with him the only way of tracking his location, namely his personal cell phone, while he's supposedly trying to hide his family from said cartel and you just end up with a big steaming pile of what the hell.
