The first season was made by literally selling videos for fractions of a dollar, the 2nd with donations and the 3rd with minimal sponsorship. The crew did not even have rvs, they camped in tents, then created this amazing series.
I'm not even going to mention the nominations and awards it took.
The dystopian nature of the show is like no other, the story and scores compliment every element perfectly.
