Delivery (II) (2004)
6/10
Realistic and prophetic at the same time.

The best film of the popular in the 80's and 90's greek director Nikos Panayotopoulos is his most mature and complete one. Its a realistic portrait of the dark side of Athens, which was unusual at the time for greek cinematography, in an age wherebad television had leaved its mark in the way the movies where seen by the public. It was a shocker in general and how a young man makes a living by doing scrapworks and being seriously underpaid. He is taking a job as a delivery boy and he is leaving around him the downfall of the urban society. The best thing about this movie its the prophetic images of a society that 6 years later fell in a world famous financial crisis, which from it hasnt yet recovered. The movie shows exactly the things that most employees are living in the crisis, 6 years before it..For every young greek this is a must see.
