So I thought it was light weight, mildly entertaining comedy, not especially funny, but with some charm. some melodrama. mindless, but good natured.
what changed for me was Season 2 E#5- Dan's mother and father, divorced, go on a date. For the fun of it, they cheat a hard working taxi driver out of 10 (UK pounds or euros) I was sad and horrified. some poor hard working man, driving a taxi at night, maybe working long hours, or 2 jobs. get cheated. Seems they did this many times before- This is so mean. I stopped watching!!!

you may say, well, give it a break, it's just silly comedy. but I was so offended, especially by the cavalier way they handled it. As it was perfectly all right- just a fun prank.
