Warning: Spoilers
Sorry fellow "Occupied" fans. There is such a long wait between seasons. So I was eager to devour the release of Season 3. As a retired US military officer with fond memories of a couple of NATO tours, I appreciated the show's premise and second and third-order effects that result, and the poetic license with the soap opera elements were fun to watch. Flash forward to season 3.

Wow. What a mess. In retrospect, I notice that season 1 is 10 episodes. Season 2 is 8 episodes long and this truncated season is only 6. So many unlikely plot twists are crammed into this season that we're left thinking WTF! Not to spoil too much, but Hans Martin's fate is head scratching and very unsatifying. His wife's escape to DC defies all logic. (Sorry, Norwegians, you can't just find a distant relative on Ancestry and move to the States) and The heart attack and epiphany with Jesper Berg was sloppy, lazy writing at its worst. The final episode seems like halfway through filming the Norwegian Film Commission pulled the plug and gave the show 30 minutes to wrap up all loose ends. The chaos that follows is not fun to watch :(
