the fact is after watching a few episodes of Jett my suspicions were confirmed: Carla is a great character actress but not able to to act as a lead. This is compounded by the absolute juvenile writing. It is as if the show runners assumed their audience were children. It is pretty obvious what kind of audience Carla would attract. Why write the show to be so childish and and simpleminded???
