Season 4 has been absolutely fantastic, especially the last 10 or so episodes since the rescue mission began. The episode prior is still my favourite of the season, maybe the entire show, but this one is such a close second. It brought an incredibly satisfying and emotional conclusion to this arc with the successful rescue of Eri and the death of Nighteye...
I don't often cry at shows and movies, or games, but I came pretty close to doing so watching Nighteye on his deathbed. Even though he's not been in the show long at all, it felt like he'd been there from the start. That just shows how great this anime really is; it knows how to make every character feel important in their own ways.
Cannot wait for next week. This episode; this season... this show proves why this is a must watch Anime.
