This is fully reminiscent of comedy styling such as Airplane! and National Lampoon, which were so popular in the 80s and 90s.
Its crazy, unique and silly, all of which having the making of a great series.
Unfortunately American 'humor' over the past 15 years has trended to be degraded to poo, dick and fart jokes. There are a few exceptions, but often to reach a large audience and hit the lowest common denominator, US comedies have constantly lowered their standards to the point where its basically the same as all the others, with a different coat.
Im really glad to see a return to this kind of creative comedy, and keenly look forward to a second series.
Edit: Original review was after 5 episodes. While the series became a little more low-brow and the jokes dried up towards the end of the series. Its still worth a watch for those who like absurd humour. Adjusted rating from 9 to 7.
