Elaine Joyce was an attractive blonde who specialized in good-hearted ditzy women, the kind who cause trouble, make mistakes and get guys in trouble because they speak first (very fast but thankfully without the vocal fry many women speak in today) and think later. She enjoyed a very busy career and married well later on (Neil Simon). This was a potential pilot for a spinoff from Green Acres that went nowhere. Richard Deacon from Dick Van Dyke was her irritable boss and she was his receptionist. Elaine wears a sheer, skintight minidress that clings to her trim but shapely body like plastic wrap and a push-up and out bra, and bends over a lot. This alone is worth watching. Deacon is immune to her assets and just looks irritated by her behavior. In the second half, she changed into a terrible pantsuit outfit to get a check back from a con-man. Surprisingly, Elaine never got her own sit-com considering her roles and cheery personality on Love American Style, the Love Boat and other comedic TV shows plus the stage.
