Legacy (1975)
4/10
A day in the life of a whacko.

Warning: Spoilers
At the end of this film, I felt like I'd just sat through a horror movie. Joan Hotchkiss talks almost non-stop for the length of the film. Her character is either deeply disturbed or extremely sorry for herself. It's probably a combination of both. Problem is, the movie gives no reason why we should sympathize with this character (who is also wealthy). Much of this is shock value-like when Joan is naked in the bathtub; and when she starts spewing racist dialogue that makes Archie Bunker seem like a liberal. The movie holds your attention, but it's too claustrophobic and one-dimensional.
