The wife oof a big shot police commissioner is murdered. It seems like a car accident, but when Monk arrives on the scene, he begins to smell a rat. Once again, he must overcome his OCD to continue to investigate. He takes the suspects and some tiny bits of evidence and weaves them. The woman who plays the psychic underplays her role (which makes her more endearing, rather than a bona fide nut case). Once again, Tony Shlhoub shines.
