I don't review often but after watching Sufna i couldn't stop myself from giving my honest opinion about the movie. I have seen a lot of Punjabi movies but i must admit that Sufna is by far the best movie i have ever seen along with 1984 Punjab. Story is quite simple and novel unlike clichéd rom-coms and slapstick comedies which is in trend now in Punjabi film industry. Sufna's Story:- Sufna is a story of Tej (Tania) an orphan girl which is still waiting for her disappeared Army officer father and lives with her Tau Ji and Tai Ji and Ammy VirK plays Jeet is a free-spirited youth in the village, he doesn't care or has not any goal in the life. But his life changes, when he meets Tej, and how Tej slowly gives direction to his life and encourage Jeet to understand the true meaning of life and how social and economical barriers comes as an obstacles in their life. Does Tej reunite with her lost father? Does Jeet get succeed in his life? Does Tej & Jeet get over with theses social and economical obstacles? you have to watch the movie for getting these answers

Performances:- Tania as Tej gives the best performance of her life she has played a really very complex and sensitive character with great ease. The way she talks to her deceased mother and her wait for her lost father are really tear jerking she has shown a wide range of emotions in her dramatic scenes and looked quite funny and cute in light moments her scenes with Ammy Virk are absolute gems I hope she will be on a different league after this movie on the other hand Ammy is in top form his acting prowess is getting better and better with each and every film his transition from an aimless student to a mature lover who is determined to change his situation is really praiseworthy and comic scene with Jagjeet Sandhu and Balwinder Bullet is very hilarious and all the supporting cast specially Seema Kaushal gives good support to the movie.

Music:- Music by B Praak and Lyrics by Jaani is the backbone of the movie each and every song is situational, ear pleasing and melodious. Ammi & Qubool Ae is my favourite of them.

Direction:- After Qismat, Jagdeep Sidhu once again proved his mettle as a skilled storyteller and I am sure he will be the next big thing in Punjabi Film Industry he blend emotions, romance, comedy in the right proportion in the movie he came out with the best out of their lead pair and all the star cast he handled a sensitive and emotional subject with great perfection overall a must watch for family audience and true movie lovers.
