"Lucy Hires an English Tutor" is perhaps my favorite episode of the entire series. Long before they go to Hollywood or move to Connecticut, the Ricardos and Mertzes are simply going from one situation to another.
And this one is truly hilarious!
The scene in which Hans Conreid's character is having the two couples practice for their musical number may be, in my opinion, the single most hilarious scene in the series. We see all of them singing nonsensical lyrics, and William Frawley in a Buster Brown outfit.
The ending is also worth a watch, as it's an exercise in comeuppance.
