Restless Virgins (2013 TV Movie)
5/10
Boys Will Be Boys

Warning: Spoilers
Whether or not "Restless Virgins" was based on fact, this film never seemed very credible. Nothing about the Sutton Academy seemed like a functional school, and the biggest shortcoming was in the main romantic relationship.

The motto of the boys on the Lacrosse team is "Vi Vere Est Vincere" (to live is to conquer), and they have those Latin words tattooed on their thighs. But when their ringleader hatches a plan to leave a "legacy" of a sex tape, their world will come crashing down. Only someone with integrity at Sutton will allow truth and justice to prevail. Will those truth-tellers be the star-crossed lovers of the film?

Emily is the brash investigative reporter for the school newspaper. Lucas is the kid from the wrong side of the tracks from Nebraska. They meet as a mismatched couple and end the same.

George Bernard Shaw wrote that "youth is wasted on the young." That was certainly the case for young Lucas and Emily. It is too bad that the characters never seemed to be in love or even attracted to each other. If that was love, what a waste! Lucas and Emily may likely be restless virgins for the remainder of their lives!!!
