If you do your research you will find that most of what is portrayed in the movie is simply untrue. The movie tries to make the police look completely uninterested which is not truthful and makes the mother look like the good guy (hint: in real life she's not the good guy). Also the weird and awkward acting made it very hard to be empathic toward any of the characters. Waste of time...
