This Virginian story has both James Drury and Doug McClure going undercover
as it were on behalf of Britt Lomond an old war buddy from Cuba who saved
Drury's life there.
Lomond is accused of killing the husband of Dana Wynter who married a rich, but cruel man. The kind of man who made a lot of enemies by his very nature. But he was generous in some respects allowing Wynter's brother and sister Robert Vaughn and Phyllis Avery to live with him.
There's a limited number of suspects here so you have a good chance in figuring out who did it. But there are also strong performances from Wynter, Vaughn, and Avery to savor and enjoy. Especially Vaughn.
