I've never seen burn notice, I have no idea who the characters are. But this movie is so pure action that it's just amazing. And not that there are nonstop setpieces, it just feels like the essence of what a 2000 movies action film is.
It's also one of the few movies that i've ever seen multiple times (which only consists of Aladdin, Nightmare before christmas and Lion king). I must've seen it 15 times by now and I could literally rewatch it the second the credits start.
It's so pure. It's still heartfelt. There's just something about it, I can't say what it is. I wish the budget had been higher so some of the effects/shots were better. But other than that it really is perfect.
