Review of Ultraviolet

Ultraviolet (2017– )
4/10
Unbelievable is more like it

Warning: Spoilers
The police are presented as a bunch of incompetent morons who can't do anything without the help of these UV guys. Ola is annoying, has no regard for other people, irresponsible (keeps putting herself in harms way when there is really no need). She thinks she's got everything figured out, bulldozing her way through everything, until she's wrong and then she still acts like she was never wrong. She treats Michal like he works for her (and for some reason he lets her), keeps messing with evidence on crime scenes (every rookie knows not to touch things, let alone steal evidence. She once even stole peas, as if she couldn't just take a picture of them). She gets him stabbed for trying to save her from her own stupidity (but also, what policeman gets his gun through the door first when he can't see what's on the other side?), she doesn't even apologize, and as soon as he's back on the job, she treats him with complete disrespect, not caring that she might cost him his job, not even concerned about his obvious physical pain, and she gets him killed because she's stupid enough to turn her back on a killer and he's high enough on meds I guess to forget his training. Then she just continues to butt in murder scenes, and the coroner is someone who apparently never went to med school. Watched the first season wanting to improve my polish, but the second one just got more and more ridiculous. Once they killed off Michal, there was really nothing left to watch for. I really wish it was better.
