Daft But Enjoyable!
2 April 2020
Bjorn Kjellman plays the hapless and luckless Goran Borg with a lot of heart as he loses his job, is on hand to see his wife happily re-married and enjoying her life with a younger man and his daughter has no time for him.

All roads lead to an adventure of a lifetime to India - his friend who convinces him to buy a place on his package tour soon deserts him but Goran ends up falling in love with India and a mysterious beauty - helped along by his new buddy 'Yogi'.

It's daft and unrealistic but really good value - Kjellman plays the downtrodden everyman to perfection who leaves his hometown of Malmo for the first time to find a wider world out there, some of it he doesn't like what he sees but still finds his happiness.

I watched this on Netflix - three, hour long episodes - you can fit it all in within an enjoyable evenings entertainment.

NB: Even though it is for a Swedish audience, most of the series is in English! If you're one of those who doesn't 'like' subtitles, well, you're in luck!
