As a previous fan, I had an idea of what i was in for with Iliza's new show. But come to find it was A LOT smarter and more esoteric than I was expecting, like a Christopher Guest movie with a lot of layers, nuance and enough content to keep a conversation going in any Women's studies or Sociology class going for weeks! People that aren't into this show must not have a personal connection or enjoy the deeper context. The skit about the board game & women's support group was A1 writing, with a depth of understanding about women & culture I have never seen in a skit show...EVER. Grab your wine and put on you cultural critique hat and follow me. But If you are looking for basic, low brow comedy move on. Great job Iliza!
