It's not perfect, but I love it! A feel-good comedy with good writing

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist is a feel-good comedy that will leave you feeling content. The show is not for the hypercritical or the cynical, but will leave any other viewer feeling positive.

It is easy to tell when a writer has sketched out the entire structure of the story and when he/she has not. In the case of this show, it is clear the writer had a clear image of what the show was going to be and how different dynamics should interact, preventing the series from becoming confused.

The story is not perfect in the sense that there isn't much of a moral implication. There are sometimes noticeable feats that Zoey performs without the need of her powers, but the series does periodically incite the thought "so what can I learn from this?" Superpowers don't occur to anyone in real life, and we all love performng good deeds, so what mindblowing takeaway should the audience get? That is food for thought.

Otherwise, the show is well-written and has outstanding choreography. Reminds me of Craxy Ex-Girlfriend, Mamma Mia and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. There are also emotional scenes that I believe are well-executed.
