McHale's Navy (1962–1966)

The Silly Shenanigans Of The Navy's Sailor-Boys

I'd say that this vintage TV Sit-Com from the early-to-mid 1960s definitely had both its fair share of enjoyable moments, as well as its less-than-enjoyable moments, too.

Set during WW2 at an American naval base situated on an island in the South Pacific - "McHale's Navy" follows the often-amusing antics of a group of "bad-boy" sailors who are forever bringing nothing but frustrated headaches to their commanding officers, especially when it comes to the easily excitable, Captain Binghamton (aka. "Old Leadbottom").

All-in-all - I'd certainly say that this comical TV series was at least worth a view.
