Maybe this one wasn't the funniest, but it revealed the best and worst about Michael. He eventually learned how controlling Jan is, which made him appreciate Holly. It was a sweet moment at the end. The hug was his apology.
The nice thing about Michael is that he recognizes when he's very rude and tries to make up for it. He kissed Oscar with tongue and tried to jump off the roof. It's hard to dislike him even when he acts like a jerk.
