Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lair of Grievous (2008)
Season 1, Episode 10
10/10
Grievous Bodily Harm

Following on from what I felt had clearly been the best episode so far (Cloak of Darkness) this episode is similarly excellent. Instead of Ventress we now have General Grievous under pressure from Count Dooku after his string of failures and being put to the test facing Jedi Master Kit Fisto and Fisto's former Padawan, now a young Jedi accompanying him and a group of clones on the mission to capture or destroy Grievous.

There is cool character interplay and good verbal face offs as well as some excellent lightsaber action. Grievous gets some development and we see him both vulnerable and at peak strength as he shows what a powerful adversary he can be.

The storyline and dialogue are really strong and the action is very enjoyable. This is an excellent episode which also has some depth in terms of characterisation and Jedi fears of losing what they stand for by involvement in the war.

My rating: 9.5/10.
