Another case where it's been so long since I last watched the other TV version of the Agatha Christie story that I can't vouch for its accuracy here, but given that it turns Styles into a rejuvenation center and involves a woman drinking the blood of children to stay young, it's safe to say that it is probably a loose adaptation! It's OK but hardly memorable; the majestic Styles manor and the quite milf-y Alexia Barlier are the real stars. The writers also play a rather cruel trick on Alice in this episode. **1/2 out of 4.
