The Doctor, Ian and Susan discover they are suffering from radiation sickness. They are soon captured by the inhabitants of the city, mechanical creatures called Daleks. Susan must venture into the jungle alone to find drugs needed to treat the radiation sickness.
Terry Nation was never the greatest writer in the world, but he does an excellent job with The Survivors. The Daleks would never be more threatening than they are here. Special mention must be made of Raymond Cusick' fantastic set design.
