The point of a 'Pilot' is to write the beginning of a story in an original and interesting way to hook the viewers in. But as this is a remake of the UK show, it is a near exact script to the UK Pilot. It establishes our main characters well (Michael, Pam, Dwight, Jim), but overall has a boring and forgettable plot.
