Yet another one of the many Father Ted episodes that I can watch time and time again without ever tiring of it. There are numerous scenes which linger on in the memory and the episode includes one of Ted's most quotable lines as he tries, and fails, to educate Dougal.
Top quality Ted and Dougal interaction throughout, as their day just gets worse and worse with each scene. Just when you think their fortunes have to change for the better, things deteriorate even further.
The writing is simple and yet so clever, allowing for the use of the most basic of props for a joke and the most innocuous of situations to become completely chaotic.
The two leads are also very well supported by a great cast, including Graham Norton as the hyperactive Father Noel Furlong.
