Stellar first part collapses after that
24 May 2020
The first half is good. Loved the way it showed music and musicians in more detail than "Mozart in the Jungle" without pandering to an audience who know nothing about classical music. The back stories of the cellist and bass player and oboist were interesting. The love triangle was icky and revolting. Should have left that out. Made the concerts exciting. Jang Geun Suk plays the trumpeter conductor quite sweetly and sensitively the only likeable character. Kim Myung Min acts and looks like a conductor. At first liked his crazy nasty dialog but towards the end the outbursts were repetitive. Lee Ji Ah plays an irritating violinist. Most annoying K drama character. The latter part got silly with the obstacles and lack of resolution. 3 episodes could have been cut. Still don't regret watching it just wish the latter part was better.
