As someone who watched as a little kid,it still holds up,The animation was pretty cool if a little mushy (in color sorta).This film successfully uses foreshadowing from the duchess serving the king tea which is later revealed to be poison,to the princesses using their abilities they were given at the beginning of the film.The choreography is greatest that I've ever seen and it actually serves to the plot,The Villain is also not shallow and goes from somwwhat of a jerk to a complete psychopath and it never felt forced,she wants the kingdom to herself and won't let anyone in her way.I also liked the rivalry between the monkey and the cat as it felt like a brother sister rivalry vibe
Overall,it's a good film
Also to the people mentioning how its "too scary" and it "has too much consumerism" shut up,being scary isn't a bad thing and consumerism doesn't affect a film's quality,just look at the Lego Movie
I'd out this film on my top 5 for sure
