Okay, Haleh...must've called the ACLU after she was fired to get her job back. Pratt is going to a bachelor auction, so she has to chime in with her racist remark (she is conveniently written in to the script to be there right at that moment) that goes something like 'is your black girlfriend okay with you putting your black ass up for rich white women to bid on' That did it for me...I turned it off.
Let's address the issue - that was a racist comment, plain and simple. You wanna know how you can tell - and this works in any given situation, anywhere in the world, by anyone who says anything potentially offensive - if the roles were reversed, there would be outrage and overreaction. If Abby said to Luka 'is your white girlfriend okay with you putting your white ass up for rich black women to bid on' the show would be over, CNN would have it headline every hour and the careers of the actors involved would be toast.
It is a ridiculous double standard that we're living with in America. And people are getting fed up.
