D-Day (I) (2013)
6/10
An average attempt.

If i talk about story, it had potential but the exceution and screenplay lagged far behind what I expected. Let me start with few of my own observations:

You made an attempt, you failed. Reason, because it was not the way. Agreed.

You prepared for another attempt and there comes the lag. Emotions. The same old cliches of love and its power. Indian government disavowed them because they failed. Another emotion to digest. And those love attempts made me feel they were pushed rather required.

Somehow I felt there could have been ways to captivate viewers by creating strategies, agents agony, their fear and passion to fight back. I see these peculiar elements missing because, director wanted emotions in place. Now, am not saying it didn't had space but not forty to fifty percent of whole movie duration.

At last, kill your asset. If killing was the end option, then why carry all along till indian boundary, to show your worth? You didn't do it earlier bcoz you were bound due to a reason but then later you were not because the reason wasn't with you. Urgh.

Last but not the least, length of movie. I mean it could have been max 2 hours which is stretched half an hour more.
