The story is based on a real life event of a teenager girl who gruesomly murdered her own parents on August 14, 2013, the incident which shook the entire nation to the core. The direction, casting, story telling, execution, background music - everything was on point. August 14 gives a subtle message to it's audience : to take care of the kids and their deteriorating mental health. The actor, Tasnuva Tisha did a tremendous job and played the role Tushi amazingly well. She takes you to Tushi's twisted world and will make you watch her journey in one sitting. The world needs to see more brilliant work like these. Much credit goes to the director Shihab Shaheen. Absolutely a masterpiece!
