After 12 years of waiting, FC Bayern Munich were once again on top of Europe. Apart from a 0-2 home loss to Arsenal, the rest of the matches were convincing. The win over Juventus and the two-legged defeat of Barcelona were impressive. And the match against Borussia Dortmund was one of the few exciting finals in recent years.
