I am sure that I am not the only fan of British murder mysteries. If you are even a fan of Nordic Noir, this show is very entertaining .
It's so foreign to see the poor people in London are white. I am aware that's not always the case, but my point is that Americans will find this interesting, as a "foreign film" and dismiss the criticism which lowered its ratings. It might be unrealistic, but we don't know that. Feminism? What year is represented? Is it a realistic portrayal? As an outsider, I have no idea nor do I care, really. I love The Great, after all.
So, I took off a star.
Note, I have only watched the first episode, but did indeed enjoy it.
