A Whisker Away Review
20 July 2020
I really enjoyed the storyline since the story was light and relatable. It was relatable because we all experienced (or will experience) the classic teenage life, plus I knew the feeling of having a crush on somebody ;). I experienced a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the movie, I even shed a few tears from time to time which was surprising because I rarely cry during movies (even the sad ones). Another reason why I liked the movie was because of the art style and animation. The way they drew the characters was really cute and the way they animated it made it look like they were actual people. Each character, from the hair to the clothes etc. really felt like they were real people (shook). The scenery of the movie was honestly amazing. The way that the artists drew them was suuuper nice especially the coloring and the attention to detail. If you ever see a pretty shot of the movie, take the time to pause the movie first and just ADMIRE HOW BEAUTIFUL THE SHOT IS. I recommend doing that because it really helps you appreciate the movie more. The lessons in this story really gave a big impact on me because it inspires me to become a better person to myself and to others. If you liked this movie, we recommend: Your Name, Weathering with You, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro
