The emotional and physical struggle of two people in love while suffering with the pains of cancer is..... 'DIL BECHARA'.

'Kizie Basu's' cancer suffering patient and 'Immanuel Rajkumar Junior's' suffering, both were believable and actually painful to watch. We are supposed to be biased towards Sushant's character but Sanjana's 'Kizie' takes the cake initially. It is only in the 2nd half when the really irony of this film becomes evident and shifts our perspective repeatedly between the 'reel' and then the 'real' life.

Couple of notches below perfection 'Dil Bechara' is actually a very nice film with great performances by the lead pair. They are utterly believable with their performances although there are a couple of questionable scenes. But for a 1st time director this is a masterpiece of a film. The emphasis is on the 'Whats' of the film and not necessarily the 'Whys'!

I loved the performances of Saswat and Swastika as the loving parents of Kizie. Even the actors who played Immanuel's parents in their silent appearances were absolutely brilliant with their performances. Perfect casting!

I loved this film. I would have no hesitation in comparing this film with Rajesh Khanna's 'Anand'.

The sole purpose of a film is to move the audience emotionally in one way or the other. This film succeeds big time in doing that.

The cinematography by Setu sir is as awesome as ever. However I do have issues with the sound; at times it was difficult to hear and understand what was being said. Edit ing by Aarif S. was crisp and awesome!!!!

My ratings: 8/10 ********

Please do watch it! You won't be disappointed!
