Warning: Spoilers
Lucy reaches her Waterloo in this classic episode, one of the best of the first season or any season for that matter. This episode is where Lucy has had enough of Ricky's desire to keep the apartment with a lived-in look by dropping his coach wherever and tossing the newspaper onto the floor. She creates a line that she can't cross unless he has to leave and this results in her not being able to use the bathroom. So there's a starving Cuban and a dirty brunette, as Lucy says herself, unable to fix her hair, and this becomes one of the best battle of the sexes sitcom episodes ever. However, the real highlight of the show is Ricky doing "A Big Straw Hat" number in rehearsal at the Tropicana with cleaning lady Maggie (Hazel Boyne). Lucy's revenge against Ricky takes a twist when a magazine wants to do a story on Ricky's home life. Of course Ethel and Fred support Lucy and Ricky based on their own gender and habits, and that makes you episode all the funnier. A true classic.
